Kevin Hunt

Project Manager. Kevin@michaelmenn.com
Kevin started out his career in 2010 by pursuing a dream of learning to build  custom homes and took on construction as a career path. He worked on panel building homes as well as custom framing in McHenry and Lake counties as a carpenter. In 2014 he moved to interior remodeling and custom homes to gain a better understanding of the industry and took small side jobs as he learned multiple trades. In 2015 he took a sales job in Denver and honed his sales and communication skills to enable another life goal of opening his own business. He then took a partnership role in Wisconsin Dells for an established construction business.  There he constructed a hotel resort building in negative temperatures learning to face challenges of building in cold weather. In 2016 he opened his own business in new buildings, residential remodeling and custom furniture building working on decks, fences, trim, flooring, kitchens and bathrooms. Next up was a job as superintendent in a commercial business for a 5 million dollar mixed used in downtown Skokie. In 2024 Kevin joined MM Ltd., after deciding to focus on residential and customer focused, quality construction.  Kevin is excited to continue to help push Michael’s experience into real life projects.

Marcia Lawrence

Project Architect 847.770.6303 marcia@michaelmenn.comMarcia has been practicing architecture since 1985 and is a registered architect in Illinois and Michigan. Marcia and Michael met many years ago but reconnected through a collaborative project only recently. Marcia is the project architect for the firm. Her responsibilities include everything that has to do with the design, from meeting with clients, to interpreting their wants and needs into built form, and producing the drawings needed for construction. Marcia’s favorite project type is residential because she finds that clients are most passionate about the space they call home. Marcia enjoys working with the Michael Menn Ltd. team very much. In her spare time, Marcia wrote a book about her father, a Holocuast survivor, titled Resilience––from Shavl to Southfield via Dachau, and she’s thrilled to be able to speak at schools and religious institutions, taking over where her father is leaving off.
