Energy efficiency is one of the latest buzzwords in new home construction and remodeling. But what does it really mean? I looked this up on Wikepdia and this is what I found.
Efficient energy use, sometimes simply called energy efficiency, is the goal of efforts to reduce the amount of energy required to provide products and services. For example, insulating a home allows a building to use less heating and cooling energy to achieve and maintain a comfortable temperature.
So how can I make my living or work environment more energy efficient? One way is to integrate my energy usage.
By working with a preferred vendor like Grand Home Automation several of our clients reduced their energy cost by installing energy efficient thermostats that are programmed to their computers. This allows them to set their temperatures down or up depending on the time of day and the time of year. During the winter, why is it necessary to heat your second floor if you are either working or using the downstairs?
